A viral campaign for Tostitos worth checking out as the site’s art direction is awesome and the streaming works very well. See everything about the Institute Against Fun for yourself at www.nolaf.org.

Now if you’ve been reading this blog for a while you might know that I’m a dog person. And today I’ve been sent something that is currently touring the interwebs and really upsets me.
Habakkuk Guillermo Vargas, some Costa-Rican wanna-be artist, starved a dog to death as part of an art installation in Nicaragua and may be doing the same crap again at the Bienal de Artes Visuales de Honduras 2008. There’s heaps of articles and blog posts out there and it’s hard to figure out whether the dog called Natividad died or escaped and was fed or not. Best and most objective source I found is probably The Guardian.
There’s an online petition out there in Spanish or Engrish addressing the organiser of the Bienal and nearly three million people have signed up so far. Please do so too.
Whatever the truth is, I just wish somebody would kick this so-called artist as hard as possible into the nuts. Again and again.
PETA makes a valid point about him just counting on exactly this kind of attention and better just ignoring it and focusing on the millions of cases we can help. I agree but still think he needs it into the nuts. Hard.
A spoof of Unilever/Dove’s Onslaught viral. My favourite answer to the ad is still this one though.
