Blue Origin is a private space venture backed by Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.com. The aim is to create a cost-efficient passenger-carrying suborbital rocket. The company just released details of the first flight of the test rocket Goddard on 13 November 2006. The rocket went to a height of 285 feet and then landed right back on its launch pad.
