Gen-Y pool party organisation


This is very ingenious. Teens in the UK use Google Earth to find the rare residential swimming pools in their country and then spread the word about their pool party plans over Facebook and Bebo. The owners are obviously not made aware of the incoming crowds. Full story over at the SMH.

I’m loving the speed of FF3. Stunning. Also liking some of the new features as for example the built-in ‘Recently Closed Tabs’ which I used to have a plugin for. But when it comes to the design I wonder WTF they were thinking. Looks great on my Vista machine at work (will add screenshot tomorrow) but seriously, check out the Mac version. It’s like the ugly output of Camino and Safari doing some filthy inputting with ugly cousin Finder in the middle.
