A little microsite for the vintage champagne featuring a short movie with stunning Eva Herzigova. The intro starts off quite well as you get to see a slideshow of Eva while listening to Karl Lagerfeld’s voice. It then gets better as we learn from Karl that shopping is todays main social activity and that the pink champagne made it possible for Eva to have a little affair with the geezer in the next door hotel room. The site’s quite well done though. Link
Go and have a look at the website genpets.com and you’ll find out that these little ugly guys are mass produced bio-engineered pets. Each comes pre-packaged as a fully self-contained unit in sort of a hibernation condition. They are available in 7 different personality types and are delivered with a fresh strip and heart monitor. You can spend ages on the website but will not find out much more. There’s no video clip or explanation if these things can talk, walk or whatever.
After doing some Google-ing I found the website of the artist Adam Brandejs who’s behind all of this. It certainly makes you think differently about bio-engineering when you see a whole wall of these guys. And considering the professional website that came with the installation in a store in Canada this would confuse quite a few people including myself.
I found this outstanding gallery on Flickr from a guy called Naveen from San Jose. There are more than 2,000 photos on there and it’s absolutely worth taking the time to go through page by page. Flickr
After IMDB listing every movie and actor someone finally came up with the database listing all cars that had memorable appearances in movies. IMCDb.org
Ari Vatanen still holds the record in the Pikes Peak hill climb race. The documentary itself won awards at several film festivals. The car was a Peugeot 405.
