Microsoft chose a different way to promote the upcoming Xbox 360 game Halo 3. We’ll see if this stunt will primarily fascinate advertising people or actually break through to the Halo fan base. Of course there is also a corresponding weirdo website:
Part of this marketing plan is an extended treasure hunt. The treasure hunt will include previously unknown information about the Halos, the Flood, the Forerunners and the true origins of the Halo trilogy.
