Poisoned trees
I keep seing these naked trees with signs saying ‘This tree has been poisoned’ around Double Bay and Rose Bay here in Sydney. Makes you wonder who else would have any interest in killing a tree than the dudes living right behind it.

Somewhere around Cremorne Point I came across a council sign like this one that was as big as the dead tree and placed exactly where the dead tree once stood.
That’s awesome and serves them right. There’s the urban myth of a single copper nail doing the job if big enough and placed right.
