Can’t wait to see that as I loved the book but am a bit worried Tom Hanks is gonna pull it down as with the Da Vinci Code. I wish they would make a film of Dan Brown’s Deception Point which I enjoyed most among his books.

I think this will make a better movie than Da Vinci Code, which I’m hoping because I preferred this book over its sequal.
Deception Point was actually my least favourite book of his, but I loved Digital Fortress. Word is he has another book coming out soon… exciting!
Zac, you’re an Aussie right? Have you read John Birmingham’s recent Without Warning and do you like Matthew Reilly?
After reading Deception Point and Angels & Demons i swore an oath never to read Dan Brown again. He can develop an engaging narrative but at the end his contrived/stereotypical characters leave me unfulfilled.
I suppose this formulaic approach will suit Hollywood though…

I am indeed. Never really read anything of Matthew Reilly’s, I suppose it’s on my list of things to read. And I’ll check out John Birmingham too.
Zac, if you dig into Reilly’s work skip the latest books and go for either Ice Station or Temple.
